The Family Reading Partnership, located in Ithaca, New York, is a coalition of organizations, individuals, schools, libraries and businesses that is working to create a "culture of literacy" by promoting family reading practices in the community and beyond.

Books and words have a huge impact on our lives. Read stories from community members about their own book experiences in the Power of Words column, originally published in the Ithaca Journal.
Children learned friendship and self-confidence through dramatic play and visual arts based on books.
Our set of 6 books and a CD uses rhyming and rhythm to connect children and families with the joy of words and books.
Written and illustrated by Katrina Morse, "At Home with Books," is a wonderful read-aloud book and includes read-aloud tips for parents!
